You most certainly do! All new members of Teach This Daily will get FREE access to our Teach This Primary + Unit Plans membership and Homework Hound.




I teach a split or composite grade, will Teach This Daily work for me? 

Yes, Teach This Daily currently supports Foundation and Year 1 content. We support composite classes by providing differentiation and modifications for all resources and you can seamlessly connect to the regular Teach This site to download additional grade level content. 




How am I going to cover everything? 

Don’t stress. All the hard work has been done for you.

Every curriculum code for the following subjects has been carefully considered and placed at the ideal time to teach it throughout the year.

What curriculums do you cover?

How do I know that learning intentions are being addressed? If you are an Australian teacher, we have you covered. Teach This Daily supports the following curriculums:

All our content is curriculum-aligned, and you can also use our handy learning intentions widget to display, edit and print the corresponding outcomes for each lesson. 




Are assessments included? 

Yes, every unit plan for every topic includes multiple assessment opportunities, including a summative assessment at the end.

Our HASS and Science units also contain additional rubrics to identify success in these curriculum areas.




When is content released?

Teach This Daily allows you to focus on delivering a great lesson instead of worrying about when to teach a particular topic.

You will always have your year and term overviews available, with detailed weekly content being released two weeks in advance so you can prepare for your lessons and get any necessary approval from your curriculum team ahead of time.

You are also able to revisit any previous weeks as long as you were a member when they were released.




I’m a Homeschooler. Will this work for me?

Differentiation and Special Needs

The intuitive guide to modifications and differentiations gives you access to many ways to differentiate each activity for all curriculum areas so you can support your high flyers and those who need additional support, all while ensuring the rest of your class is also reaching their full potential.




Do you include decodable readers?

Yes!

Follow the daily phonics lessons to ensure your students develop their reading skills systematically and progressively. Our included decodable readers make reading achievable and fun for everyone. You’ll be amazed as your students read their first book by the end of week 1.

Our English content is based on the latest research, so you can be assured that the Science of Reading concepts have been adapted into our lesson plans. We also recognise that some schools may be invested in particular literacy tools and programs, so we give you the power to implement what works best for you and your students. 




I want to change the content around.

Teach This Daily has been designed from the ground up to cover all curriculum areas in a structured and logical way, meaning you can focus on delivering a great lesson instead of worrying about when to teach a particular topic.

You will always have your year and term overviews available, with detailed weekly content being released a few weeks in advance so you can prepare for your lessons and get any necessary approval from your curriculum team ahead of time. The same applies to the daily structure. We have laid out each subject in a preferred teaching order and also scheduled a couple of hours for your non-contact teaching time, assembly, library and whatever else crops up during your week.

If you use the daily plan, move the content around to suit your preferences. We always include the mandated 10 hours of Literacy and 5 hours of Mathematics each week, along with Health, Art, Science and HASS blocks.




I want to pick and choose how I use the planner is that ok?

Absolutely, if you want everything organised right down to the day, including what resources to teach, then follow our weekly plan. 

You can also download the complete weekly topic content and then decide which activities to use with your class. This membership includes everything; all you need to do is choose the level of planning detail you require and go from there. I have a set lesson structure I need to follow, will Teach This Daily work for me? 

Yes, it will. Teach This Daily has been designed from the ground up to take the hard work out of planning, but we also recognise that some teachers have a set structure they need to follow. In this case, simply download the Teach This Daily year or term overview that you require and using your included Teach This website access, download the unit directly.
